Kewl...... unleash the Blues Demon - the punch-ins are a little noticeable because of the volume differences but overall you did pretty well with it.
Good Job

At this rate Roo you are really going places! Very bluesy, plenty of expression - sounds like you really had fun with this and I love Mick's bass too. Very nice work indeed!

This is some pretty cool stuff! You need a bit of work on some of your bends (not near as much as some others on dmusic, but still SOME work). I also think you could use some good work on vibrato. Try this: sit down and play one note and hold it and concentrate on making your vibrato as pleasing to the ear as possible. Use a little, then alot, then go as much inbetween as possible. The key is CONTROL over the tone
Having said that, you have a ridiculous amount of potential! I'm endlessly impressed, knowing your age and how long you've been playing. Keep it up!
Now let's hear Serrana, damn it!

Nice track. The base is nice and solid and the playing is good as always. The only thing that I've noticed is that you go out of rhythm somewhere around 0:45. But appart from that, it's great.

I agree already with what most has been said, pay attention to what Alex said about paying attention closely to each individual note whether they belong to a long phrase or not...
Your ideas are being conveyed and that is what is important and I am impressed as well in that each time I hear a track of yours the understanding of the musical language and "vocabulary" if you will is expanding...

One of the great things about Dmusic is being able to hear young talent like this... One day, you're gonna be a cracking guitarist and it's a real pleasure listening to your progress..
The blues is my favourite music and you really do have a natural feel. Your timing and phrasing so belies your age. I s'pecially like the way you're not afraid to leave gaps.. probably the most iimportant aspect of blues soloing...
Hearing you play this has really made my day.
In a few years time when you have a bag of techniques to go with that feel that you already have, us oldies are gonna have to watch out..
Really well played Roo..
and well played Mick on the bass giving you that platform..

Rog (Traf) said it all mate
I didn't think you'd use this bass line, I only sent it to you to use for practicing, something to help you keep the "ONE"
But I realy don't mind you posting it.
I've said it before...I'll say it again, one day....your going to be a brilliant blues guitarist.
And...I think withing the next few years you'll get it, the "penny" will drop and you suddenly play like the greats.
I wish I had as much tallent as you have now, when I was your age mate.
I'm a fan.

Wow I really feel the way you play. This is a great jam and well you move around the guitar so seemlessly and with excellent emaotion!!!
I showed some of your playing recently to a mate who has been playing for a number of years himself and he was amazed to see someone so young with such amazing mature playing like this. I bet you get sick of being compared with your age a lot but thats only because you are bloody awesome!!!

you deserve to be featured artist this week on dmusic---you're starting to smoke as a blues guitarist. a few little timing issues only show that you're this good at so young of an age...by the time you're twenty you're gonna be trading licks with the best of them. just listen to traf's comments. they come from one of the best guitarists. and gene too.
