Not bad The rhythm guitar needs to be worked on though, there's big issues with the timing and possibly tuning - but that can be easily sorted.

yes, not bad at all... sounds like a strat... nice separation in the mix. have to agree with Chris about the timing, but it's a small issue and not a big one to me. kool lead work thru-out. keep up the playing.. you got a nice future with the guitar. Keep playing

I agree with what the others have said and would just like to add that there's some nice ideas here...
The major scale is a not that easy sometimes to run around, but you'recreating some nice phrases.. I think once you get a few more techniques under your belt, it will all satrt to fall in place...
There's a little bit around the 1.14 mark that has a nice loose feel to it... It will be really interesting to hear you developing...
You sound like you're really enjoyig yourself, which is what matters most at this stage of your playing..
Yeah, great to hear..

hey,
first off nice work with recording quality, dead clear.
the rhythm guitar sounds good, but maybe more variety might be good - but then again the focus is pretty much entirely on the lead guitar.
which is really good, you got some good phrases going on there, melodic and nice to listen to. Keep practising and it can only get better!

nice lead work. like mentioned above, i'd suggest working on the timing and make sure anytime you record, check the tuning to see if its dead on. keep it up!

Nice. Some tasty chops at times indeed. The opening phrases remind me slightly of Jerry Garcia. I think Traf about summed it up for me. A backbeat, bass etc---perhaps voices, this will make a great tune.

Well, everyone else has already said it, but I will too - very nice lead work, good and clean and a lovely tone. The rhythm part's good as well, I don't think I heard any major mistakes at all. The one thing that could have improved it would be blending the two parts better - it felt a bit as though there were two songs here competing to be heard rather than one coherent bit of music, although that did get btter as the piece went on. Good work all round, though - hope to hear more from you!

sounds like a lot of fun, I agree with the majority of what has already been said...
In summary the rhythm part could be a bit more on the beat and perhaps playing to a click track or having a metronome sitting off to the side would certainly help you along...
Keep going..

I can tell you dig what you are doing, any song can be nitpicked to death, I choose to just enjoy it. A click/metronome would help for sure, but tell ya what, as Ghostie said, the passion's there. That's the art of it, the rest is science really. I am of the opinion that anyone can be a scientist but not everyone can be an artist, if that makes any sense. It's kinda late lol.

Hehe plus, it's called "Coffe House Jam" so maybe give you a break on the timing too! Last time I jammed a coffe house I wore an MP3 player with a click track in it (my own timing really sux) and some guy in the audience said "Hey dude, what's with the ear buds?" My answer was "Van Halen, 1984. I get kinda bored sometimes". Thanx for posting, a pleasure.

Its not bad. With the lead stuff I'd say for the style of song you'd be better keeping it melodic lead playing for the most part slow but phrased well and maybe get faster later. It always sounds better if you keep to your inside your limits with lead too. You need to try and take the lead somewhere like playing a melody line followed by a counter melody or something like that. Nice though.
